Location: RAF Croughton & RAF Barford St Johns

Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday with on call, 1 in 4 weeks maximum

Salary: Up to £41,000 dependent on experience and qualifications

Are you a skilled Electrician looking to elevate your career? You will play a key role in supporting critical operations within commercial, technical, and accommodation facilities across two important RAF sites.

About the role:

  • Your primary responsibilities will include carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), responding to reactive callouts, completing compliance testing to JSP375 standards, and delivering minor installation works on commercial buildings.
  • You will work hands-on using a digital tablet to log detailed reports and ensure accurate documentation.
  • The role also includes participation in an out-of-hours callout rota and occasional use of company vehicles to support mobility between sites.

What you will need:

  • This position requires you to have City & Guilds Parts 1 & 2 in Electrical Installation or an equivalent qualification.
  • You should also hold the 2391 Testing & Inspection certification and have proven experience in electrical maintenance and repair in a commercial environment.
  • Strong communication skills are a must, as you will regularly interact with clients and internal teams.
  • It is essential you have knowledge of health and safety and a qualification to show this.
  • While previous Authorised Person (AP) or Authorising Engineer (AE) experience is advantageous, it is not essential.
  • Knowledge of fixed wire inspections, PASMA, and IPAF certifications would be beneficial.
