Weekend cover cleaner to help support holiday and sickness cover across a variety of sites in the Ipswich and surrounding areas.
MUST HAVE OWN TRANSPORT
Flexibility required plus additional hours available during the weekend, but not essential for this role.
Pay: £14.25 per hour
Expected hours: 2.0 – 8.0 per week
Work Location: In person
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial premises during designated weekend shifts, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas according to health and safety standards
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently and safely
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management
- Follow company cleaning protocols and health guidelines to ensure a hygienic environment
- Complete cleaning checklists and record completed tasks accurately
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as needed
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred
- Knowledge of effective cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during weekend shifts
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness
Good Communication Skills And Reliability Are Essential
- Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform manual cleaning tasks for extended periods
