Vivisol is currently seeking an IT Infrastructure Manager based in Crawley to oversee the implementation and management of our ICT solutions.
Leading an in-house team, you will drive the delivery and reliability of our critical business systems.
We are offering a generous package, including; 33 days of annual leave (including Bank Holidays), private healthcare, a car allowance, and generous salary depending on experience.
This position is primarily office-based (4 days per week in the office) with some travel expectations to our other sites across the country.
The standard working hours for this role are Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm.
Main duties and responsibilities of the IT Infrastructure Manager
- Leading and mentoring the IT Networks and Infrastructure team, driving daily operations and supporting individual career development.
- Designing, implementing, and managing IT infrastructure projects to ensure high system availability, security, and minimal downtime.
- Overseeing the routine maintenance and monitoring of all servers, PCs, and network hardware across the business.
- Ensuring strict information security compliance across ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials Plus, and the NHS Information Security Toolkit.
- Coordinating disaster recovery (DR) plans and responses for UK elements of the IT infrastructure alongside external providers.
- Managing 3rd-party vendor relationships and collaborating with internal teams to guarantee high-quality service delivery.
- Developing and controlling the network and infrastructure budget in close partnership with Finance.
Partnering with senior management and key internal stakeholders to align IT infrastructure with wider corporate objectives.
Requirements & Experience
- Degree in an IT discipline or equivalent relevant industry experience.
- Proven leadership experience in an IT management role.
- Hands-on background in 3rd-level support, with deep experience in IT infrastructure design, implementation, and system architecture.
- Demonstrated project management success, specifically leading infrastructure and system development projects from inception to completion.
- Strong technical expertise in server and network troubleshooting, M365, Azure, Remote Desktop Services, Power Shell, and Active Directory management (DNS, DHCP, GPO).
- Experience with compliance standards, ideally working with ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials Plus, or NHS Information Security frameworks.
- Technical Environment & Desirable Skills
- Hardware: Dell Servers, Cisco Catalyst switches, Cisco Meraki.
- Software & OS: Windows Server (2019–2025), Windows 10/11, Endpoint Configuration Manager, SQL, and Google Workspace.
- Certifications: ITIL or vendor certifications (Microsoft, Cisco, etc.) are highly desirable.
