About Vivify
At Vivify, we believe schools should be at the heart of their communities - not just during the school day, but every evening and weekend too. We partner with over 250 schools across the UK, opening up sports halls, pitches, theatres, classrooms and other facilities for local clubs, organisations and community groups. Every booking we manage helps schools generate additional income while creating more opportunities for people to be active, learn new skills and connect with others.
We're growing quickly, and we're looking for someone who is passionate about building relationships and making a genuine difference to join our School Relationships team.
The opportunity
As a School Liaison Officer, you'll be the trusted face of Vivify for a portfolio of partner schools. You'll build strong relationships with school leaders, business managers and site teams, ensuring every school feels supported, valued and confident in their partnership with us. You'll visit schools regularly, solve problems before they become issues and work closely with our operational teams to make sure every venue runs smoothly. This isn't just an account management role - it's an opportunity to have a real impact. You'll help schools maximise the value of their facilities, improve community access and ensure every partnership continues to thrive.
If you've worked in a school before, you'll already understand the pace, priorities and pressures of the education environment. We'll provide all the training you need on our systems and processes - you'll bring the people skills.
What you'll be doing
- Build and manage strong relationships with a portfolio of partner schools, becoming their trusted day-to-day contact.
- Visit schools regularly to maintain excellent partnerships and identify opportunities to improve the service we provide.
- Support the launch of new partner schools by coordinating information, site access and operational requirements.
- Keep key school information accurate and up to date, including facility availability, term dates, site restrictions and planned closures.
- Work collaboratively with our Operations, Customer Service and Training teams to deliver a seamless experience for both schools and community users.
- Resolve operational challenges quickly and proactively, ensuring issues are handled before they impact customers.
- Hold regular review meetings with schools, gathering feedback, agreeing actions and strengthening long-term partnerships.
- Identify ways to improve school satisfaction, increase engagement and support long-term retention.
- Help remove barriers to community bookings by working through permissions, site processes and operational challenges.
About you
You'll enjoy building relationships, solving problems and keeping lots of moving parts organised. You'll probably have experience working within a school or alongside schools, giving you a good understanding of how they operate and the importance of safeguarding, communication and trust.
We're looking for someone who is:
- A confident relationship builder who enjoys working with a wide variety of people.
- Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Calm under pressure and comfortable finding practical solutions.
- A great communicator with excellent attention to detail.
- Comfortable learning new systems and technology (full training provided).
- Happy travelling regularly to schools across your region.
- Committed to safeguarding and promoting safe environments for children and young people (an Enhanced DBS check will be required).
You don't need previous experience in account management - we're looking for someone with the right attitude, strong relationship skills and a genuine passion for supporting schools.
What you'll get
- £28,500 annual salary.
- Discretionary annual bonus based on performance.
- On-target earnings of £30,000.
- Unlimited annual leave.
- Full training and ongoing development.
- Clear opportunities to progress as Vivify continues to grow.
- The chance to work for a fast-growing, purpose-led business that's making a real difference to schools and local communities.
- A supportive, collaborative team where your ideas and contributions genuinely matter.
