Community Host / Leisure Assistant - Chantry and King Edwards - Morpeth, Northumberland

Job Purpose: To welcome our hirers and their groups into the schools’ facilities ensuring all facilities are opened and set up on time for each group to be able to enjoy their visits.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Deliver a world class experience for our hirers, ensuring all customers receive a positive and memorable experience. Assist hirers with setting up facilities for lettings & other school related events, from setting up a badminton net to switching on the floodlights.
• Undertake light cleaning duties so that the school’s premises are always left as found – a quick sweep and tucking chairs back under the desks or storing away equipment in the gym.
• Secure the school’s gates and doors, ensuring they are locked up safely at the end of the shift.
• Complete all health and safety checks and report any hazards or faulty equipment via our company platform, maintaining high standards of safety for the school, its grounds and all on‑site personnel.
• Receive full training, both in person and online, including introduction to the site, safeguarding responsibilities, manual handling, fire safety and customer service.
• Support the school, hirers and the Vivify team in any additional activities that improve service quality or operational efficiency.
