Job Overview
Vivienne Westwood is looking for a Junior Legal and Privacy Specialist to join the Legal Team in the Battersea Office on a full-time basis, who will support the UK Legal Counsel in a variety of activities.
Responsibilities
- Administrative and legal support to the UK Legal Counsel;
- Review of NDAs, commercial contracts, supply contracts, service contracts, special collaborations and licensing relating to various projects, including UK and global level;
- Support in privacy matters (GDPR), preparing privacy documentation such as ROPA and DPAs, compliance activities in general and regulations of the specific reference sector;
- Support in the management of issues related to the corporate \”day by day\” in the field of civil, commercial and intellectual property law through the preparation of the legal documentation required by the various departments;
- Legal document archiving by implementing a digital archiving system;
- Coordination with internal company departments and related external stakeholders in the signature processes;
- Conducting legal research.
Technical and Personal Skills
- Law degree (having obtained the LPC or similar qualification to practice law in the UK will be preferred);
- At least 3 years\’ experience in similar roles in multinational companies or international law firms;
- Excellent knowledge of civil, commercial and intellectual property law;
- In-depth knowledge of contracts and regulations on privacy and compliance;
- Excellent knowledge of English, spoken and written (essential requirement);
- Strong problem‑solving skills, adaptability in a fast‑paced environment, able to prioritise effectively, attention to detail, ownership‑driven attitude to work, proactivity, organization and a collaborative team mindset.
