About The Role

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Jewellery Product Development Intern to join our Jewellery Product Development team on a full‑time basis for 3 months. This role will be based in our Battersea office. Assisting the jewellery developers, you will provide support on all processes, offering a unique learning opportunity. You will obtain a valuable insight into the collection from initial research and sourcing, through to design development. This stimulating and varied role requires a pro‑active individual who thrives in a fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Development: Assisting in organising the commercial / special project and show jewellery sample archive.
  • Building an internal material research library.
  • Keeping record of all materials’ data, pricing and specifications.
  • Assisting when necessary in the making of the seasonal selling book and technical presentations.
  • Assisting in the data recording of the collection development, photographing samples and sending samples to suppliers.
  • Sourcing new components, creating PO’s, and ensuring the department is kept up to date and organised.
  • Liaise with offshore factories on development, technical and quality issues, managing correspondence.
  • Sending shipments to our Asia office.
  • Responsible for repairs and returned samples.
  • Assisting in the coding of collection on internal system.
  • Ensure that all the manufacturers deliver sample, pre‑production and special development orders to deadlines.
  • Assist with inputting data onto the seasonal Pricing files.

Merchandising:

  • Competitive benchmarking: provide analysis by segmentation of products, pricing, and collection structure.

  • Good communication skills are a must as should be the applicants spoken and written English.
