ABOUT THE ROLE We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Ecommerce Merchandiser role to join our Ecommerce team on a full-time basis for 12 months. This role will be based in our Merton office. Responsible for maintaining the e-commerce platform. This includes front-end (user interface) and supporting back-end (server-side) development to include intuitive navigation, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience. KEY REPSONSIBILITIES Overseeing the Curation and maintenance of APAC -Japan locale product listings to enhance user experience and drive sales. Create, maintain and deploy guidelines for Japan partners to follow online catalogues and developing range plans that align with seasonal campaigns and evergreen offerings. Support Japan website operative teams with troubleshooting or training resource for efficiency – adhering to best practice and compliance. Overseeing a comprehensive online calendar that includes seasonal launches, promotions, exclusive collaborations, sale activities. Synchronising efforts with internal teams and Japan partners. Analysing market trends and consumer behaviour to inform merchandising strategies. Supporting back-end development and website refinement in collaboration with systems integration (SI) teams to improve overall site performance. Understanding key metrics and generating insights to apply actionable initiatives for improvement and drive revenue growth for APAC – Japan website operations. Reporting on performance metrics and online sales to inform business decisions. Collaborating with the internal commercial teams to coordinate and execute promotional campaigns with our Japan partners and third party stakeholders. Keep abreast of all localised online activities and developments impacting sales online. Analyse stock levels and coordinate with inventory Japan teams to ensure availability of products. Enhancing the UI/UX customer journey to facilitate seamless navigation and boost conversion rates and all key metrics for online success. Any other ad hoc tasks required. (Please note this is not an exhaustive list of duties and you may be required to perform additional duties to fulfil the requirements of the role) PROFILE & KEY SKILLS Minimum of 5 years of experience in merchandising. Proficiency with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC). Strong knowledge of web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, and XML. Experience with AP systems. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting. Expertise in data reporting, analysis, and interpretation. Familiarity with UI/UX principles and best practices to enhance user experience.
