Vivienne Westwood are seeking a highly analytical and technically skilled Performance Marketing & Insights Lead to drive the optimisation of our digital campaigns and transform data into actionable insights. While supported by external agencies, this role requires some level of hands-on involvement. The ideal candidate will be confident working independently across analytics tools and ad platforms, validating agency reporting, and proactively uncovering insights to inform strategy and performance optimisation. This role is based at Vivienne Westwood's head office in Battersea on a full-time basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Performance Marketing
- Lead and manage agencies in optimising Google Ads, Shopping, Display, and Paid Social campaigns to maximise ROAS and reduce CAC.
- Refine targeting, bidding strategies, and budgets in collaboration with the Head of Digital.
- Act as the primary contact for day-to-day communication with agencies, ensuring outputs align with business objectives and brand positioning.
- Provide clear briefs and KPIs, evaluate agency performance, and identify areas for improvement.
- Oversee product feed optimisation, ensuring data accuracy and alignment with seasonal priorities, marketing launches and product availability.
- Partner cross-functionally with creative, merchandising/e-commerce teams to ensure campaigns align with key collections, launches and products availability.
- Be able to run and report on paid social campaigns in-house when required — hands-on experience in Meta Ads Manager is essential.
- Collaborate with agencies but maintain independent oversight of campaign performance, ensuring transparency, accuracy, and consistency of reporting and optimisations.
- Support the digital marketing team across affiliate marketing campaigns.
- Data Analysis & Insights
- Monitor and evaluate performance across all channels using GA4, Meta, Google Ads, and other analytics tools.
- Build and maintain advanced dashboards in Looker Studio and use data visualisations to quickly explore and present key trends.
- Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Excel, creating automated reports, pivot tables, v-lookups, and macros.
- Analyse user behaviour, AOV, conversion rates, and product preferences to identify regional trends and growth opportunities.
- Support customer segmentation analysis and loyalty tracking to inform targeting and retention strategies in collaboration with the CRM specialist.
- Validate and interpret data provided by agencies, ensuring consistency across platforms and proactively identifying insights or discrepancies.
- Ensure data accuracy and alignment across analytics platforms, managing attribution differences and integrating with e-commerce data.
- Evaluate website performance using GA4 and tools such as Microsoft Clarity, recommending journey optimisations and A/B testing opportunities.
- Stay current with digital and e-commerce trends within the luxury fashion industry to identify new growth opportunities.
- Skills & Experience
- 4+ years’ hands-on experience in performance marketing and analytics, ideally within luxury fashion or retail.
- Hands-on expertise in Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager (essential), Google Shopping, and affiliate marketing platforms.
- Strong knowledge of GA4, attribution models, event tracking, and e-commerce KPIs.
- Advanced skills in Looker Studio and Excel (report automation, advanced formulas, and pivoting, etc.).
- Experience with feed management and shopping campaigns optimisation.
- Analytical mindset with strong numerical ability and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to present insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proactive, commercially aware, and passionate about digital innovation.
- Technical Competencies
- Confident using analytics and reporting tools independently, without relying solely on agency support.
- Ability to validate tracking, assess data accuracy, and build performance dashboards from scratch.
- Hands-on experience across ad platforms, product feeds, and performance data environments.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Data Science, Marketing Analytics, or related fields.
- Experience with Salesforce and feed management tools.
- Experience with Power BI.
- Knowledge of customer segmentation and loyalty frameworks.
