We currently have four full‑time, 6‑month fixed term vacancies covering Basingstoke, Portsmouth, Eastleigh and Aldershot. Your allocated patch will determine which local office you are contractually based at, and you will travel within the surrounding areas. These roles are 39 hours per week and offer the opportunity to work as part of a supportive team while making a visible difference in our communities.

Role Responsibilities
As a Grounds Maintenance Operative, you will carry out a high standard of groundswork to keep our communal areas attractive for customers. You should have good communication skills and be able to interact with residents and colleagues in a friendly and professional manner, working independently as well as part of a team. You should have knowledge and experience in this field, with skills to operate a variety of equipment, machines and materials used on a daily basis.
Duties
- Routine grounds maintenance tasks such as grass/hedge cutting, trimming and weeding
- Hard area maintenance and low‑level tree work as well as soft landscaping
- Shrub maintenance
- Ensuring communal areas are free from litter and debris
- Performing regular inspections to identify and address potential safety hazards
- Assisting with seasonal tasks such as leaf removal
- Operating grounds maintenance equipment and tools
- Responding promptly to maintenance requests from residents

Licences and Checks
Offers are subject to a full, clean current UK driving licence held for at least one year to be able to drive one of our vans when needed. This role requires a DBS check.
