We are looking for a Company Secretarial Assistant with strong minute‑taking skills and board‑level experience to join our team in Portsmouth. This role works 37 hours per week with a minimum of 20% of this time office‑based to promote collaboration and team working.

About the role

You will be at the centre of how the organisation runs, keeping everything ticking behind the scenes, making sure meetings run smoothly, decisions are well‑supported, and regulatory responsibilities are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pull together board and committee meetings from start to finish.
  • Prepare agendas and help get board papers ready.
  • Sit in on meetings and produce clear, confident minutes.
  • Track actions so nothing gets missed.
  • Manage the meeting calendar.
  • Support Companies House filings and keep records up to date.
  • Help with day‑to‑day governance tasks, events and admin.

Key Qualifications

  • Experience supporting at a board or senior level.
  • Strong minute‑taking skills.
