Vivid Technology is working with a global, leading provider of satellite communications and antenna terminal solutions. Our client is seeking a Senior Director of Military & Government Business Development to drive growth across EMEA. This senior role is responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing business opportunities with Military, Security, and Public Sector clients. You will define and execute the Military and Government business strategy, driving revenue growth across land, maritime, and aviation domains, while shaping customer requirements and positioning cutting-edge satellite communications solutions as critical to their technology roadmap.
Key responsibilities:
- Drive business development and revenue generation across land, maritime, and aviation segments in all target countries
- Build and manage a robust pipeline, presenting solutions and roadmaps to key decision-makers
- Provide market insight, monitor trends, and identify emerging needs in defence, security, and secure communications
- Build and maintain senior relationships with military, government, and industry stakeholders
- Lead bids, tenders, and framework engagements, ensuring compliance with regulatory and ethical standards
- Develop strategic partnerships to expand market reach and influence
Candidate profile:
- Proven Defence or Government technology sales experience, ideally in satellite communications or secure communications
- Military background or extensive defence-sector exposure highly advantageous
- Strong stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and leadership skills
- Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and commercial acumen
- Degree in a relevant field preferred
