With a new year comes new opportunities and I am delighted to be partnered with an early stage B2B SaaS business as they continue their impressive growth journey from 2025. Such is their success that they are now looking to hire a number of people across the business, one such hire is an exciting opportunity for a Product Engineer to become a part of the growing team to help transform how their clients and customers work.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand existing and new customer use cases by collaborating with Data Engineers, product managers, and end users
- Translate use cases into configurable, reusable platform functionality that can be deployed across multiple clients
- Design and build scalable data models, workflows, and abstractions that support a high degree of variation without custom code
- Develop and extend generative AI workflows and system capabilities (e.g. using platforms like Palantir AIP) as part of the core product
- Build and maintain robust data integration capabilities using PySpark and other distributed technologies
- Balance short-term delivery with long-term platform coherence, maintainability, and extensibility
- Contribute to architectural decisions that shape the evolution of the platform
Key Skills
- 4–6 years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or product-focused engineering roles
- Experience working on platforms or products, ideally SaaS and not just one-off implementations
- Ability to translate complex, ambiguous business problems into clean, extensible technical solutions
- Strong fundamentals in Python, PySpark, and SQL
- Comfortable working in fast-moving startup environments where requirements evolve quickly and can be undefined
Nice to Have
- Experience with Palantir Foundry, or experience with tools such as Databricks, Snowflake, DBT and Airflow.
- Comfortable working with Typescript
- Knowledge of API design and backend product development
- Familiarity with enterprise systems such as ERP (e.g. SAP, Oracle) or CRM platforms
- Exposure to generative AI systems, orchestration frameworks, or AI-enabled workflows

- This role is a Hybrid role with the expectation of working in the London office 3 days per week
