Interim Estates Surveyor – Local Authority

We are looking for an experienced Interim Estates Surveyor to support our busy local authority property team. This is a key role managing a diverse portfolio, including commercial and operational assets, ensuring best value and compliance across the estate. No Residential work at all!

Key Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day management of a varied property portfolio
  • Lease negotiations, renewals, and rent reviews
  • Providing professional estate management advice
  • Supporting asset strategy and disposals/acquisitions
  • Ensuring statutory and regulatory compliance
  • Advising on valuation work

Requirements

  • Proven experience in estates management, ideally within the public sector
  • Strong knowledge of landlord and tenant matters
  • MRICS (or working towards) preferred
  • Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
