We are looking for an experienced Private Sector Housing Officer to join my clients team on a flexible, part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone with strong housing enforcement knowledge and a passion for improving housing standards.

Role Overview
You will be responsible for delivering housing enforcement services, including:
- Investigating complaints and service requests relating to housing conditions
- Carrying out inspections under the Housing Act 2004 and HHSRS assessments
- Preparing and serving statutory notices where required
- Managing enforcement actions, including prosecutions and civil penalties
- Liaising with landlords, tenants, and partner agencies to resolve housing issues
- Supporting initiatives to improve private sector housing standards
