We're currently recruiting a Network Engineer for a job vacancy in Maidenhead which will cover topics related to ICT, Audio Visual, Telecoms, and Electronic Security systems to join a dynamic and growing specialist team.
The specialist team focuses on the planning and design of digital, intelligent, and automated technology systems, including ICT, AV, and electronic security solutions, as well as associated smart building certifications.
You will work across a diverse portfolio of projects, collaborating within multidisciplinary design teams or delivering standalone consultancy services. Projects will span from early feasibility stages through to detailed design and on-site support.
- Shaping technology strategies and system concepts for a wide range of building projects
- Coordinating with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure aligned delivery
- Reviewing third-party designs and contractor submissions for technical compliance
- Attending project meetings and acting as a technical point of contact when required
- Carrying out site visits to assess existing conditions and monitor installation quality
- Supporting testing, commissioning, and handover activities to ensure systems perform as intended
Interest in building services engineering or developing an electrical engineering career within ICT, AV, telecoms, and security disciplines.
Degree or qualification in engineering, science, or a related field.
Understanding of networking technologies (e.g., ability to manage deliverables within deadlines, technical and commercial awareness).
Awareness of smart building technologies.
Basic understanding of project management principles and governance.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, BIM, Revit, and CAD (training can be provided).
Strong written and verbal English skills (client-facing role).
