Interim Estates Surveyor
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and advise on a varied local authority property portfolio
- Deliver landlord and tenant matters including, rent reviews and negotiations, ground leases
- Support asset management
- Wayleave work
- Instruct and manage external agents and professional advisers
- Ensure compliance with local authority policies and statutory requirements
Requirements:
- MRICS qualified (preferred)
- Proven experience in estates/property management, ideally within a local authority or public sector environment
- Strong knowledge of landlord and tenant law and property best practice
- Able to work with a varied caseload and work to tight deadlines
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
