Senior Planner
A planning consultancy based in Surrey is seeking a Planner or Senior Planner to join its team.
The successful candidate will work on a range of planning projects across the South East, supporting clients through the planning process and assisting with the preparation and management of planning applications and appeals. This role would suit someone with consultancy, local authority, or developer-side experience who is looking to broaden their project exposure and continue their professional development within a supportive team environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing and submitting planning applications
- Assisting with planning appeals and representations
- Undertaking planning policy and site research
- Liaising with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders
- Preparing planning statements and supporting documentation
- Managing projects appropriate to your level of experience
Applicants should have:
- A relevant planning degree
- MRTPI Chartered
- A good understanding of the UK planning system
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Previous experience within planning consultancy, local government, or a development environment
