As a Planning Consultant, you will be involved in a wide range of exciting and varied projects. The role includes supporting senior team members, providing tailored advice directly to clients, and contributing to the preparation of reports and planning submissions. These may include site assessments, policy briefings, planning applications, development plan representations, and Environmental Statements. You’ll also play a key role in helping manage the team’s caseload.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support senior staff in progressing complex, large-scale projects
  • Manage smaller planning applications independently
  • Conduct research and in-depth site and policy analysis
  • Prepare planning appraisals for land, buildings, and development concepts
  • Draft planning reports and prepare submission documents
  • Engage with planning officers, consultees, and third-party stakeholders
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other professionals
  • Contribute creative and innovative solutions to planning challenges
  • Take ownership of smaller-scale projects from inception to completion
