Overview
I am currently representing a client based in the central belt of Scotland who is currently hiring for an interim MRICS Capital Project Surveyor. The successful candidate for this position will be very experienced in managing Capital Projects or long-term investments in assets on behalf of an organization ranging between £50k - £10 million.
Responsibilities:
- Manage capital projects or long-term asset investments on behalf of the organization, with project values ranging from £50k to £10 million.
- Produce tender documents, organize contractors, and consult on acquisition of high-value assets for refurbishing.
- Manage projects from start to finish, including scoping work and preparing jobs to market for contractor bids.
- Be on site 2 days per week and coordinate preparation for new asset purchases.
- Oversee projects from initiation to completion and manage contractors on projects valued between £1 million and £10 million.
Qualifications:
- Several years of delivering this type of project experience, with a Building Surveying background.
- MRICS qualified.
