My client, a local council in Staffordshire, is seeking an experienced Environmental Protection Team Leader to lead their Environmental Health team on a short‑term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a leadership role and drive improvements in environmental protection services.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Environmental Protection team, ensuring effective delivery of statutory duties.
- Oversee investigations into noise, nuisance, air quality, and other environmental health matters.
- Provide technical guidance and support to officers on complex cases.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and council policies.
- Prepare reports, manage workloads, and monitor team performance.
