The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Assistant Director to join a highly successful and growing property business operating across the Northwest.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious MRICS-qualified property professional looking to take the next step towards Director level, with the autonomy to manage key client relationships, lead instructions and play a significant role in the continued growth of the business.

The successful candidate will join an established team with a strong reputation in the market and will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of private-sector clients across the Northwest.

The Role

As Assistant Director, you will play a key role within the property team, with responsibilities including:

  • Managing a varied portfolio of commercial property instructions.
  • Acting as a senior point of contact for key clients.
  • Providing strategic and commercially focused property advice.
  • Leading complex instructions from inception through to completion.
  • Developing and maintaining long-term client relationships.
  • Identifying and winning new business opportunities.
  • Taking an active role in business development and networking across the Northwest.
  • Leading negotiations and delivering high-quality professional advice.
  • Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team.
  • Working collaboratively with other departments to deliver a comprehensive service to clients.
  • Contributing to the strategic growth and development of the wider property business.
  • Representing the company at client meetings, networking events and industry functions.

About You

We're looking for an established MRICS-qualified property professional who is commercially driven and ready to take on a senior position within a growing business.

Ideally, you will have:

  • MRICS qualification.
  • Significant experience within commercial property.
  • A strong track record of managing client relationships and delivering property instructions.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Northwest property market.
  • A proven ability to generate and develop new business.
  • Strong commercial awareness and excellent negotiation skills.
  • The confidence to operate autonomously and take ownership of key instructions.
  • Experience mentoring and supporting junior colleagues.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A genuine ambition to progress towards Director level.
  • A full UK driving licence.
