The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Assistant Director to join a highly successful and growing property business operating across the Northwest.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious MRICS-qualified property professional looking to take the next step towards Director level, with the autonomy to manage key client relationships, lead instructions and play a significant role in the continued growth of the business.
The successful candidate will join an established team with a strong reputation in the market and will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of private-sector clients across the Northwest.
The Role
As Assistant Director, you will play a key role within the property team, with responsibilities including:
- Managing a varied portfolio of commercial property instructions.
- Acting as a senior point of contact for key clients.
- Providing strategic and commercially focused property advice.
- Leading complex instructions from inception through to completion.
- Developing and maintaining long-term client relationships.
- Identifying and winning new business opportunities.
- Taking an active role in business development and networking across the Northwest.
- Leading negotiations and delivering high-quality professional advice.
- Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team.
- Working collaboratively with other departments to deliver a comprehensive service to clients.
- Contributing to the strategic growth and development of the wider property business.
- Representing the company at client meetings, networking events and industry functions.
About You
We're looking for an established MRICS-qualified property professional who is commercially driven and ready to take on a senior position within a growing business.
Ideally, you will have:
- MRICS qualification.
- Significant experience within commercial property.
- A strong track record of managing client relationships and delivering property instructions.
- Excellent knowledge of the Northwest property market.
- A proven ability to generate and develop new business.
- Strong commercial awareness and excellent negotiation skills.
- The confidence to operate autonomously and take ownership of key instructions.
- Experience mentoring and supporting junior colleagues.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A genuine ambition to progress towards Director level.
- A full UK driving licence.
