We’re currently recruiting on behalf of a client in the West Midlands for an experienced and motivated Housing Officer to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about delivering high-quality housing management services and supporting tenants to sustain their tenancies.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a patch of properties, acting as the main point of contact for tenants
- Deliver effective tenancy management, including sign-ups, enforcement, and sustainment
- Support tenants with housing-related issues, including arrears, anti-social behaviour, and welfare concerns
- Carry out property visits, inspections, and health & safety checks
- Work closely with internal departments and external partner agencies
- Maintain accurate records using housing management systems
- Ensure compliance with housing legislation, policies, and procedures
