About Our Client
Our client is a dynamic and commercially focused planning consultancy delivering expert planning advice across regeneration, commercial, mixed-use and strategic development projects. They work with developers, investors, landowners, local authorities and private sector clients to unlock opportunities, create value and deliver transformative developments. Due to continued growth and an expanding project portfolio, they are seeking an ambitious Town Planner / Senior Town Planner with a passion for regeneration and commercial development to join their growing team.
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of town centre regeneration, employment, retail, leisure, logistics, office, mixed-use and strategic development projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping places, supporting economic growth and delivering commercially successful planning outcomes. Depending on experience, the role can be appointed at Town Planner or Senior Town Planner level.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, submit and manage planning applications, appeals and pre-application enquiries for regeneration and commercial schemes.
- Advise clients on development potential, planning strategy, risks and opportunities.
- Undertake site appraisals, feasibility studies and planning due diligence for commercial and brownfield sites.
- Prepare planning statements, sequential/impact assessments.
