With a strong reputation across the South East and a growing presence in London, the business provides commercially focused planning advice across a diverse portfolio of development projects. Working collaboratively across planning, transport, infrastructure and environmental disciplines, the consultancy supports clients in delivering complex and high-profile schemes.

- Coordinating pre-application activities, stakeholder engagement and consultation processes.
- Supporting projects through examination, including preparing written representations, Statements of Common Ground and responses to the Examining Authority.
- Liaising with local planning authorities, the Planning Inspectorate, statutory consultees, legal advisers and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Monitoring changes in planning legislation, national policy and the NSIP consenting regime, advising clients on their implications.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships while identifying opportunities to develop new business.
- Providing guidance and mentoring to junior colleagues, contributing to the development of the wider planning team.
You will also have the opportunity to contribute to a broader range of town planning projects, providing variety and exposure to different sectors and development types.
About You

- Excellent report‑writing, analytical and communication skills.
- The confidence to engage with clients, stakeholders and public bodies, including presenting at meetings, consultations or hearings.
- A proactive, commercially minded approach, with the ability to identify solutions and take ownership of projects.
Experience across sectors such as energy, transport, utilities, water, waste or other major infrastructure would be advantageous.
