A well-established manufacturing business based in Rochdale is seeking an Interim Finance Director to support the business through a critical 8-month period. This is a hands-on leadership role, taking full ownership of the finance function while partnering closely with the MD and senior leadership team.
Key Responsibilities:- Full responsibility for the finance function (financial control, reporting, cashflow)
- Lead and develop an on-site finance team
- Own budgeting, forecasting and cashflow management
- Support operational decision-making in a manufacturing environment
- Improve financial processes, controls and MI
- Act as a strategic partner to the MD and Board
- Liaise with external stakeholders (auditors, banks, advisors)
- Proven experience as a Finance Director / Senior Finance Lead
- Strong background in manufacturing or industrial environments
- Comfortable operating at both strategic and hands-on level
- Experience leading teams and driving change
- Immediately available or short notice preferred
