We are currently seeking an experienced Class 2A+ Building Control Surveyor for an interim opportunity based in Lancashire. This is an initial 6-month contract, with a strong view to extension due to ongoing workload.
The Role
- 4/5 days per week carrying out site inspections and plan checks
- Opportunity to move to full-time working depending on service needs
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out site inspections across a range of building types
- Assessing compliance with Building Regulations
- Plan checking and providing technical advice
- Liaising with applicants, contractors, and internal stakeholders
- Ensuring works meet statutory and safety standards
Requirements
- Must be Class 2A+ registered with the BSR
- Proven experience within Building Control
- Strong knowledge of Building Regulations and legislation
- Ability to work autonomously in an interim capacity
- Full UK driving licence (due to site visits)
