One of my Local Authority clients based in Scotland is looking for a Senior Estates Surveyor on an interim basis for an initial 6 months.
Responsibilities:
- Landlord and tenant issues, including rent reviews, lease renewals, rent arrears, new lettings
- General estates management
- Disposals
- The portfolio is made up of commercial units and offices mainly
You must be MRICS for this role, however it isn’t essential to be a Registered Valuer. It is important that you have prior experience within Estates Management, ideally in a Local Authority setting, however this isn’t essential.
You would be working in the office for 1 day per week and working remotely for the rest of the week. There is potential for the hybrid working to be 2 days every other week instead. The Council is open to either part time or full time for the right candidate.
