I'm currently recruiting for an Interim Asset Data & Performance Officer. This will be a 6 month initial contract with a requirement of 5 days per week in the office. This is a hands-on role focused on asset data, stock condition information, performance monitoring and data quality. The successful candidate will need a strong understanding of social housing assets and building components, alongside excellent data and Excel skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, cleanse and validate housing asset and stock condition data
  • Review survey information and photographic evidence against recorded component data
  • Validate information relating to roofs, kitchens, bathrooms, windows, doors, heating systems and other building components
  • Monitor contractor performance and produce monthly KPI reports
  • Analyse datasets and identify gaps, anomalies and data quality issues
  • Produce management reports, dashboards, charts and performance information
  • Support asset investment planning and capital programme monitoring
  • Work with contractors and internal teams to ensure accurate and reliable asset information

You will have:

  • Experience managing and analysing large datasets
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas and pivot tables
  • Experience with data validation, cleansing and quality assurance
  • Housing asset management experience and knowledge of building components – essential
  • Understanding of stock condition data and asset management
  • Experience producing performance reports and KPIs

Experience within social housing or local government and familiarity with systems such as Keystone, Aareon, Civica or similar would be advantageous.
