Key Responsibilities * Provide technical assurance across mechanical building services and engineering systems. * Monitor contractor and supplier performance, ensuring compliance with statutory, technical and contractual requirements. * Manage asset performance, reliability, lifecycle planning and continuous improvement initiatives. * Review designs, specifications, maintenance strategies and technical documentation. * Support NEC contract administration, including performance monitoring, change management and contractor engagement. * Ensure compliance with health & safety legislation, industry standards and best practice. * Analyse KPI data and produce reports on operational and contractual performance. * Collaborate with stakeholders, facilities teams and service providers to drive service excellence. Essential Experience * Mechanical Engineering qualification (HNC/HND, Degree or equivalent). * Experience in technical assurance, engineering compliance or asset management environments. * Strong background in performance management and contractor oversight. * Working knowledge of NEC contracts and contract performance monitoring. * Experience within facilities management, estates, infrastructure or property environments. * Ability to review technical documentation, engineering reports and maintenance strategies. Desirable Experience * Experience of Soft FM services including cleaning, security, waste management or front-of-house operations. * Knowledge of CAFM systems and asset management software. * Membership of IMechE or equivalent professional body
