We’re looking for an experienced Project Surveyor to support the delivery of planned investment works across our housing stock, with a strong focus on kitchen and bathroom replacements, and heating system upgrades. This is a key role ensuring homes are modern, safe and fit for purpose. You’ll oversee contractors on site, carry out inspections, and ensure all works meet expected quality, safety and compliance standards.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee contractors on site, acting as Clerk of Works
- Manage and inspect planned works programmes including:
- Kitchen replacements
- Bathroom refurbishments
- Heating system installations and upgrades
- Carry out pre, post and stock condition surveys
- Ensure all works meet contract specifications, quality standards and H&S requirements
- Identify defects, manage snagging and ensure timely resolution
- Verify completed works and ensure accurate valuation against contracts
- Support contract administration, compliance and reporting
- Produce clear reports, schedules and cost information
- Build strong working relationships with residents, contractors and stakeholders
- Promote a strong culture of health & safety on site
