Location: Manchester, with hybrid working Contract: Permanent, full time About the opportunity A leading national property consultancy is looking for a Commercial Valuer to join its valuation team, with a particular focus on the leisure sector. The role offers a varied portfolio of instructions and the chance to build your profile across the hotel, pub, restaurant, healthcare and leisure markets, supported by a well-established team and a genuine route to progression. Key responsibilities * Undertake valuations for a range of purposes, including secured lending, financial reporting, acquisition and disposal, and insurance * Value leisure assets such as hotels, pubs and restaurants, health clubs, gyms, cinemas and other operational property, using both trading and investment approaches * Prepare clear, well-structured valuation reports in line with RICS Red Book standards * Analyse trading accounts and market evidence to support robust, defensible conclusions * Build and maintain relationships with lenders, owners, operators and investors * Contribute to business development and support the growth of the leisure valuation offering * Mentor and support junior members of the team where appropriate About you * MRICS qualified, with RICS Registered Valuer status (or working towards it) * Proven experience in commercial valuation, ideally with exposure to leisure or operational property * Strong knowledge of valuation methodologies, including profits-based and DCF approaches * Excellent analytical, report-writing and communication skills * Commercially minded, with the confidence to deal directly with clients * A proactive, collaborative approach and a desire to grow within a team What's on offer * Competitive salary * Hybrid working and flexibility across Manchester and London * Structured career development and ongoing support towards Registered Valuer status and beyond * A well-regarded team with a strong pipeline of leisure work To apply Contact Wallis Furney at Vivid Resourcing, in confidence, on (phone number removed)
