The predicted salary is between 49500 - 60500 Β£ per year.
We are looking for a qualified accountant to provide additional support to an established finance team in a hands-on, consultant-style capacity. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Financial Controller, Finance Manager, Financial Accountant, or similar, with strong technical accounting experience including statutory accounts and month-end reporting. Experience within manufacturing, distribution, or a product-led environment would be highly advantageous, particularly with knowledge of COGS, inventory, product costing and gross margins. Experience working in post-acquisition environments is also desirable, as is previous experience using SAP. This role is primarily about providing additional capacity and expertise to the existing team, supporting with workload, reporting, accounting queries and ad-hoc finance projects. The successful candidate will be able to hit the ground running, work autonomously and quickly adapt to existing systems and processes.
Key Requirements
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualified
- FM/FC or senior financial accounting experience
- Strong statutory accounts and month-end experience
- Manufacturing/distribution experience desirable
- Knowledge of COGS, inventory and gross margins advantageous
- SAP experience desirable
- Post-acquisition experience beneficial
- Hands-on, adaptable and able to work independently
