The predicted salary is between 43200 - 72000 Β£ per year.
Within this role you will support the Director of Resources and Head of Finance to develop all financial aspects, effectively leading and managing the accounts officers in line with the company strategic objectives.
You will have:
- Recognised financial account qualification (ACCA, CIPFA, CIMA).
- Strong knowledge of finance and accounting legislation, budget preparation, maintaining financial systems and closure of accounts.
- Ability to apply strategic decisions to an operational environment.
- Ability to translate complex financial statements into everyday language.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Customer and quality focus.
- Highly innovative, accurate and numerate.
To succeed in this role, you will have recent experience within a similar role with robust knowledge of accounting regulations, legislation and current practice, alongside excellent data analysis skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise workloads. It is essential that you will hold a professional accountancy qualification (ACCA, ACA or CIMA), highly motivated with a passion for the successful delivery of projects. There will also be regular travel and overnight stays.
