We are currently working with a local authority in Staffordshire who are looking to bring in an experienced Housing Officer on an initial 3-month contract. This is a varied and fast-paced role where you will be supporting across a number of housing patches, dealing with a broad range of tenancy management matters. The team are looking for someone who can come in and hit the ground running, particularly with the increasing volume of ASB cases currently coming through the service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a mixed caseload across multiple housing patches
- Handling anti-social behaviour cases from initial reports through to resolution
- Managing general tenancy management issues including breaches of tenancy, estate management and tenancy sustainment
- Conducting home visits and tenancy audits
- Working closely with internal departments and external agencies
- Providing a customer-focused housing management service to tenants and residents
Experience Required:
- Previous experience working as a Housing Officer within a local authority or housing association
- Strong ASB case management experience
- Confident managing a varied tenancy management workload
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is preferred
