Vivid Resourcing are currently working with a local authority in the West Midlands who are looking to hire a housing/ASBs lawyer for an interim 6 month rolling contract to cover a permanent recruitment drive.

The role would require candidates to conduct their own advocacy at least once a week and local candidates are encouraged to apply. Candidates without a background in local government will be considered.

The Role:

  • Covers a broad caseload of housing matters autonomously (possessions, ASBs, homelessness)
  • Requires a start date ASAP
  • Candidates will ideally already have prior local authority experience
  • Conducting advocacy in court (candidates must have prior experience with non-contested hearings)
  • Have two employment references available upon request
