My client is seeking a forward-thinking Environmental Health Officer to support the team on a 6-month contract

Carry out food hygiene inspections in accordance with the Food Law Code of Practice
Investigate food complaints and respond to service requests
Undertake sampling, food hygiene rating scheme (FHRS) assessments, and enforcement action where necessary
Prepare reports and legal documentation, and attend court or tribunals as required
Provide advice and guidance to food businesses to support compliance

About You:

Competency to carry out official food controls (as per FSA Code of Practice)
Degree or Diploma in Environmental Health or equivalent
EHRB Certificate of Registration or CIEH Registration
Experience in food hygiene inspections and enforcement
Strong communication, organisational, and report-writing skills
