We are currently partnering with a local authority to recruit an experienced Neighbourhood Officer to support the delivery of a high-quality housing management service. This is a fantastic opportunity for a housing professional with strong tenancy management experience to take ownership of a defined patch and make a real impact within the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a designated patch of properties, acting as the main point of contact for tenants
  • Deliver a proactive tenancy management service, including tenancy sustainment and enforcement
  • Investigate and manage anti-social behaviour (ASB) cases from initial report through to resolution
  • Carry out estate inspections and identify breaches of tenancy or environmental issues
  • Work closely with internal teams and external agencies to support vulnerable residents
  • Prepare cases for legal action where required, including attending court if necessary

About You:

  • Proven experience in a housing management / neighbourhood officer role
  • Strong knowledge of tenancy law and ASB case management
  • Experience managing a varied caseload independently
  • Confident working with external partners and dealing with complex cases
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
