About the Role
I'm looking to speak to a Building Surveyor / Project Manager who can take ownership of minor works and major capital programmes across commercial and corporate property portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Capital Project Delivery & Project Management: Lead minor works and major capital programmes from initial concept through to final handover, ensuring schemes are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Decarbonisation & Retrofit Focus: Spearhead initiatives aimed at reducing the carbon footprint of my client's corporate estate. This includes the rollout of Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHPs), upgraded heating and lighting systems, and building fabric improvements.
- Building Surveys & Defect Diagnosis: Undertake comprehensive condition surveys, measured surveys, and technical inspections covering roofing, windows, doors, and building structures.
- Tender Processes & Procurement: Prepare robust scopes of works, specifications, and tender documentation. Manage contractor procurement processes in line with public sector compliance regulations.
- Contract Administration & Compliance: Act as contract administrator on standard forms of contract, ensuring rigorous adherence to Health & Safety, CDM regulations, and statutory building standards.
