We are currently working with a well-established law firm seeking an experienced Locum Employment Solicitor to provide support during a busy period. This is an excellent opportunity for an employment lawyer with strong tribunal and advisory experience who is available at short notice.
The Role
You will handle a varied caseload of employment matters on behalf of both employers and employees, including:
Employment Tribunal claims from inception to conclusion
Drafting ET1s, ET3s, witness statements and tribunal documentation
Advising on disciplinary and grievance procedures
Unfair dismissal, discrimination and whistleblowing matters
Redundancy and restructuring advice
Settlement agreements and employment contracts
Conducting advocacy where required
Providing practical and commercial employment law advice to clients
Requirements
Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or experienced Employment Lawyer
Proven employment law experience gained within private practice or in-house
Experience handling both contentious and non-contentious employment matters
Ability to manage a caseload with minimal supervision
Excellent drafting and client care skills
Available to commence at short notice
