We are currently working with a Local Authority in the South who are seeking experienced Building Surveyors for a variety of exciting opportunities. These roles offer exposure to diverse projects within local authorities, housing associations, and private sector portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting property inspections and condition surveys
  • Producing detailed reports, specifications, and schedules of work
  • Managing refurbishment, maintenance, and capital works projects
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and health & safety standards
  • Providing professional advice on building defects, repairs, and improvements
  • Liaising with contractors, clients, and key stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a Building Surveyor role
  • Strong knowledge of building construction, maintenance, and defects
  • Experience delivering projects across residential and/or commercial portfolios
  • Familiarity with contract administration and project management
  • Excellent report writing and communication skills
  • MRICS (or working towards) desirable but not essential
