Job Summary: We are looking for a dedicated and professional Optometrist to join our dynamic team in Swindon, with occasional coverage required at our Bath clinic. In this role, you will work alongside a multi-disciplinary team of eye care professionals, including ophthalmologists, to provide exceptional clinical care to our patients. You will be involved in performing pre- and post-operative consultations for refractive and cataract surgery patients, as well as delivering comprehensive eye examinations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pre- and Post-Operative Consultations: Provide consultations for patients undergoing refractive and cataract surgery, ensuring they are informed and well-prepared for their procedures.
- Clinical Support to Ophthalmologists: Assist ophthalmologists in the clinic, supporting them with patient care during procedures and consultations.
- Eye Examinations: Conduct both essential and advanced eye examinations for a diverse range of patients, ensuring accurate diagnoses and treatment recommendations.
- Patient Education: Provide patients with clear explanations about their eye health, treatment options, and post-operative care.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in line with regulatory requirements and clinic standards.

The ideal candidate will:
- Be a fully qualified Optometrist, registered with the General Optical Council (GOC).
