An exciting opportunity has become available for a patient-focused Optometrist to join a fully private independent optical practice in Suffolk. This is an excellent opportunity for an Optometrist looking to work within a genuinely clinical environment where quality of care comes before volume and where there is real opportunity to develop specialist interests.
The practice is particularly suited to someone with an interest in Dry Eye management, enhanced services, and building long-term patient relationships within a supportive and experienced team.
The Opportunity
- 4 days per week including alternate Saturdays
- Practice hours: 9:00am - 5:00pm
- Saturday finish at 4:00pm
- Salary up to £75,000 FTE depending on experience

What Your Day Will Look Like
As the resident Optometrist, you will work closely with an experienced dispensing and clinical support team to provide comprehensive and patient-focused eye care. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive eye examinations
- Managing specialist Dry Eye assessments and aftercare
- Supporting patients with AMD-related services
- Building strong long-term relationships with patients
- Recommending appropriate clinical solutions and treatment pathways
- Working collaboratively with the wider practice team
- Maintaining accurate patient records and clinical standards
- Delivering an exceptional patient experience from start to finish
