Job Summary:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and ambitious Optometrist to join a well-established, patient-focused optical group with multiple modern practices in Edinburgh. This role is ideal for an Optometrist who is enthusiastic about delivering exceptional eyecare and wants to play an active role in shaping the future of clinical services. The practices are fully equipped with modern technology, supported by qualified Dispensing Opticians, allowing Optometrists to focus entirely on clinical care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive eye examinations to a high clinical standard
- Utilise OCT and other diagnostic equipment to support clinical decision-making
- Provide clear, patient-centred clinical advice and management plans
- Maintain accurate and compliant clinical records in line with GOC standards
- Work across two modern practices as required
- Deliver an excellent patient experience at every appointment
- Contribute to the continued development of eyecare services
Team Development:
- Work collaboratively with fellow Optometrists and qualified Dispensing Opticians
- Share clinical knowledge and best practice within the team
- Support a culture focused on quality, professionalism, and patient care
- Play an active role in shaping and improving clinical pathways
