We're working with a local practice in the charming town of Cupar, Scotland, to recruit an Optometrist to join their friendly and supportive team. This is an extremely flexible opportunity, ideal for someone looking to shape their working pattern around their lifestyle while still being part of a well-established and modern practice.
The Opportunity: This role offers exceptional flexibility, with the store open to a wide range of working patterns, including:
- Monday to Friday only
- Part-time hours
- Full-time (up to 6 days)
- Alternate weekends
- Saturdays only
- Longer days / condensed hours
While all options are considered, weekend availability is highly preferable.

The practice: This is a well-equipped and modern store with a strong local reputation and loyal patient base. Equipment includes:
- OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography)
- Auto-refractor
- NCT (Non-Contact Tonometer)
- Fundus camera
- Trial frames & phoropter
- Digital dispensing systems
You'll be supported by an experienced team of optical assistants and dispensers, allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality patient care.
Opening Hours:
- Monday - Friday: 9:00am - 5:30pm
- Saturday: 9:00am - 5:00pm
- Sunday: Closed
The Role:
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations
- Provide clinical advice and patient care to a high standard
- Work collaboratively with the wider team
- Maintain accurate patient records
About You:
- GOC registered Optometrist (or eligible)
