We are currently recruiting for a motivated and patient-focused Optometrist to join a surgery based client of mine in Kingston. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a leading provider of refractive surgery and private eye care, offering access to advanced technology and excellent clinical development.
The Role
- You will play a key role in delivering both pre- and post-operative care for refractive and cataract patients, alongside routine eye examinations.
- This is a varied and clinically focused role, ideal for someone looking to expand their expertise in a specialist setting.
Working Hours
- Full-time position (typically 40 hours per week)
- 4 or 5 days per week (flexible options available)
- Includes Saturdays on a rota basis
- No late evenings and no Sunday working
- Structured clinic schedule supporting work-life balance
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and consultations
- Perform pre-operative assessments for laser eye surgery and lens procedures
- Deliver post-operative care and follow-up appointments
- Use advanced diagnostic equipment to inform clinical decisions
- Work collaboratively with surgeons and the wider clinical team
- Provide exceptional patient care and clear clinical advice
