Job Summary

As a Skilled Labourer, you will provide minor skilled repairs and maintenance service to our properties. This may involve a variety of tasks, including:

  • Groundwork, fencing works (repairs and replacements), possible brickwork repairs and small paving works
  • Keeping sites clear of rubbish and delivering to tip or central skip
  • Delivering and collecting materials from and to sites
  • Occasionally small jobs of painting and decorating, mould washes or minor brickwork repairs
  • Assisting on two‑person repairs
  • Occasionally working with roofers to provide support for working at heights

Capabilities & Requirements

  • Working at heights
  • Manual handling and lifting heavy and bulky items
  • A high degree of mobility, including walking, lifting, loading, and unloading vehicles
  • Solid understanding of health and safety to ensure all work is completed safely
  • IT skills to process jobs through a PDA, complete e‑learning modules, and manage emails
  • A full, clean current driving licence held for at least one year (required to drive company vans when necessary)
  • Satisfactory driving licence checks and a DBS check

Interview

Interviews will take place at our Portsmouth office on 9 April (subject to change).
