We\âre looking for a Senior Data Governance Analyst to support the Data Governance Lead in rolling out our Data Governance Framework across the organisation. This is a key role in embedding a dataâaware culture and ensuring our data is accurate, complete, and aligned with business requirements.
Contractually based out of Portsmouth, this is a fullâtime permanent position working 37 hours per week, with a minimum of 20 % of this to be office based to promote collaboration.

Role Details
As a Senior Data Governance Analyst, youâll work closely with Data Stewards and stakeholders to promote the importance of accurate data and embed a dataâaware culture. This includes creating and maintaining dataâquality monitoring reports, ensuring dataâquality rules meet business requirements, and implementing consistent dataâmanagement practices.
Youâll maintain core property data, lead dataâcleansing activities, and use tools such as Power BI to extract, analyse, and visualise data. Youâll also champion continuous improvement by identifying process enhancements and challenging existing practices to drive efficiency and data quality. Additional responsibilities include monitoring helpâdesk tickets, responding promptly to issues, and promoting equality, diversity, and health & safety standards across the organisation.
To succeed in this role youâll need proven experience in data analysis, with the ability to interpret and present insights clearly. Experience with tools and technologies such as Microsoft Azure, Dataverse, Power BI, Visual Studio. SQL is desirable but not essential.
Youâll have a strong understanding of data governance principles and dataâquality management, combined with handsâon experience using dataâanalysis tools such as Power BI. Youâll have the ability to query and analyse data from multiple sources, delivering clear insights and visualisations. Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills are essential, as youâll collaborate across the organisation to embed best practices. Leadership experience is also key, with the capability to guide and develop team members effectively.
Interview Process
First stage interviews will take place in person W/C 15 December.
Second stage interview will take place in person, W/C 5 January (subject to change).
