Overview
VIVID is a leading provider of affordable homes and support services in the south of England. We’re the fifth largest developer of new homes amongst housing associations in England, having built over 1,500 last year. Our vision is \”More homes, bright futures\”. This role is based out of Portsmouth and contractually based in the South Hampshire area. It is a full-time, permanent position working 39 hours per week, including participation in the on-call rota.
Responsibilities
- Carry out plumbing alterations and maintenance to our properties, supplies and private appliances.
- Identify, diagnose and rectify faults in appliances and carry out repairs and maintenance, including carpentry and other skilled trades.
- Perform light administration duties and use an electronic handheld device.
Qualifications and Experience
- Level 2 qualification in plumbing (NVQ or equivalent).
- Ability to provide evidence of qualification at interview.
- Strong background in a similar role.
Physical and Other Requirements
- Working at heights
- Manual handling and lifting heavy and bulky items
- A high degree of mobility, including walking, lifting, loading and unloading vehicles
- Full, clean current driving licence (held for at least 1 year) to drive one of our vans when necessary
- Offers are subject to satisfactory driving licence checks and DBS check

Interviews are due to take place Friday 24 October in our Portsmouth office (subject to change).
