As Grounds Maintenance Team Leader, you’ll play an important part in delivering excellent customer and community services. You’ll plan and organise the tools and equipment required for work to be carried out. You’ll also follow standard work routines and tasks on site, with scope to make adjustments in the case of unplanned events. Responsibilities may also include ad hoc tasks such as the installation and repair of washing lines, line marking in communal areas, and graffiti removal.
We’ve recently invested in leading technologies to enhance customer engagement, improve working conditions for our staff, and deliver innovative solutions that help our customers manage their homes more effectively. As part of your role, you’ll be equipped with a company issued tablet and mobile phone to facilitate essential duties such as vehicle inspections, site reporting, and documenting completed work through photographic evidence. You’ll be accountable for the quality and efficiency of the grounds maintenance work on your sites. We’ll expect you to meet your set targets and support your supervisor to ensure an excellent, value for money service is delivered.
Comprehensive training, including support in obtaining any necessary role‑related licenses, will be provided. You’ll need a full current UK driving licence (held for at least 1 year) and trailer licence to be considered for this role. Offers are subject to satisfactory driving licence checks and DBS check.
You’ll predominantly cover Basingstoke and the surrounding North Hampshire area, and will also be required to visit our Basingstoke office for training and ad hoc meetings. This is a full time, permanent role, working 39 hours per week!
